John Mclaughlin

My name is Kaylynne Howell and my case worker was John Mclaughlin from ORANGE COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES, goshen NY. My case came about in 2009, rather then Mr. Mclaughlin asking me about what had happened seeing as tho (ALL ALLIGATIONS WERE FALSE) he had assumed what he read on paper was true. While speaking with John Mclaughlin over the phone or in person he would refer back to alligations such as " well you never cared about your son anyway that's way you pawned him off on people" he was very inapproriate he even asked if I breast fed my daughter in the middle of talking about my son, mind you I live in New Jersey my daughter was NONE OF HIS CONCERN, only my son was. Mr.Mclaughlin would yell at me on the phone and hang up on me which I reported him many times and NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT, he also yelled at me outside the court room one time after we just got out because he felt he was attacked by my attorney, this was also done in front of my attorney, another attorney and witnesses. BUT OF COURSE NOTHING WAS EVER DONE. This case worker never came to my home to do a home inspection, so he was never able to say or prove if my house was safe or ready for my son, when brought up to him he stated " well because you never invited me" I'm sorry but I thought it was a case workers job to come and check the home and to also see how the family interacts whith each other. John Mclaughlin always gave me a hard time and always treated me like I was a horrible person, never once gave me the benefit of the doubt. I was court ordered to many things which I completed ALL plus some and he never helped me find any of the programs. I found them all myself and paid for them out of my own pocket, his response to this was that I lived in new jersey so he didn't have to help.. Having to go thru this with John Mclaughlin for almost two years was absolutly life changing, not only was I dealing with them taking my son from me and my desprite fight to get him back I had to deal with all of this and it only got worse... John Mclaughlin started lying on his permancy reports A LOT OF LYING he did and said what ever he could to make sure I would never get my baby back, at this point it wasn't about what I was really doing right it was personal for him because he didn't like that I kept going over his head to his supervisor and other people higher then him and HE SAID THIS TO ME. So because I did that he lied on court documents, and he also lied under oth in court during trail while be questioned. I stood pro se in my gaurdianship trail and asked him " have you ever done a home visit to my home and seen my house and how my family is together?" He said " umm I don't know I can't remember, I don't recall" so I then said " you don't recall one home visit to my house in the three years you have had this case?" He looked at me and said " I don't recall". so I asked " are you sure that's the answer you want to put on the record?" This is just a short version of what I went thru. Its because of this man his lies and the things the court allow these days is why I don't have my son today.. also if you search Judge Carol klein, john Mclaughlin and peter Schwartz you will find I'm not the only one with facts and an opinion.
